Transforming Student Life with the First Student Management App at AUST

Abstract:

The “Student Management System for AUSTians”—branded as AUSTElevate—represents an innovative leap forward in academic administration at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST). Developed as a cross-platform Flutter application with Firebase backend support, AUSTElevate delivers a unified, mobile-first ecosystem for students and administrators. Through features ranging from real-time chat and CGPA calculation to semester result viewing, class routines, and a safe harassment reporting channel, this app substantially enhances the university’s digital infrastructure. Critically, it fills a long-standing void—until its release, no dedicated mobile student management solution existed for AUSTians.

Students can access a complete digital profile containing personal information, academic records, and guardian contact details. Traditionally, this information is scattered across paper records or office files, which often leads to delays and inefficiencies when updates are needed. By centralizing this data, AUSTElevate ensures:

• Quick access to official information anytime, anywhere.

• Accuracy and transparency for both students and administrators.

• A structured way for the university to maintain up-to-date guardian contacts, which is critical in emergencies.

This feature transforms manual data checks into a seamless, digital experience, giving students more control over their academic identity.

2. Results Management

AUSTElevate empowers students to stay academically informed through its results management module. Instead of waiting for noticeboard updates or physically collecting results, students can:

• View past semester results instantly for performance tracking.

• Check upcoming semester results as soon as they are published by the administration.
